Everyone knows that the best games, are the games that the staff won’t stop talking about! Here’s a list of the games that we can’t stop playing.
In The Quacks of Quedlinburg, players are quack doctors, each making their own secret brew by adding ingredients one at a time. Take care with what you add, though, for a pinch too much of this or that will spoil the whole mixture! This bag building, push your luck game has become a store favorite.
In Lizard Wizard, players compete to recruit wizards from seven unique schools of magic, build mystical towers, research powerful spells, summon helpful familiars, and search dark dungeons for gold and items of power. Only one Arch-Mage will rise above the rest and control the land. Will it be you? This game has been making it’s rounds through the Meeples gang. It has an aspect of push your luck, set collecting, and resource management that we all really like.
Ride a rocket to extraordinary destinations across our galaxy. During your travels you will gather exotic crystals that further our understanding of what’s out there. Use these crystals to complete exploration badges and turn them in at the mysterious Outpost 13 to prove yourself as the galaxy’s next great space explorer! Space Park is a beautiful game that features resource management, set collecting and an awesome solo mode.
Unmatched is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players. Each hero is represented by a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend. Tactical movement and no-luck combat resolution create a unique play experience that rewards expertise, but just when you’ve mastered one set, new heroes arrive to provide all new match-ups. You will often catch the Meeples gang talking about their match-ups when it comes to Unmatched. We may even break out a quick 2 player game with you if it’s slow.
In 7 Wonders: Architects, players race to become a leader of the ancient world by completing an architectural wonder that will last through the ages. Players receive an unconstructed wonder at the beginning of the game and must collect resources to build their society, develop military might to navigate conflicts, oversee resource management, research science improvements, and collect civil victory points as they race to leave their mark on world history. What we love about Architects is the simple game play and the awesome organizations! This game is so easy to break out and play for even the newest of board gamers.
