We’ve rounded up a list of new games to hit the shelves the past couple of weeks. Which game are you excited to try?

Dice Realms

Number of Players: 2-4
Ages: 14+
Time: 1 hour
BGG Rating: 7.6

In Dice Realms, players vie to improve and expand their realms. Each game is different, players draw five tiles to determine which extra die faces will be available beyond the five standard lines of faces: lands, farming, commerce, settlement, and progress. Fans of Quacks of Quedlinburg will also be fans of Dice Realms.

Catch the Moon: 2nd Edition

Ages: 6+
Time: 20 mins

Roll the die – place a ladder – Catch the Moon! Climb through the clouds and reach for the moon! All it takes is a few cleverly placed ladders, a steady hand, and a bit of imagination. Reach for the moon, but don’t stretch yourself too thin, or you may lose the ladders under your feet. We love Catch the Moon with it’s wooden pieces, it is fun for the whole family.

Wonderland’s War

Ages: 13+
Time: 1 hour+
BGG Rating: 8.4

In Wonderland’s War, players take the role as a faction leader who has been invited to the Hatter’s tea party. Drink tea and eat cake as you move around the table drafting cards to gather your forces, build your towers, upgrade your leader, and recruit Wonderlandians to your cause, but one must be careful as shards of the Looking Glass are spread throughout Wonderland.

My Father’s Work

Time: 1 hour+

In My Father’s Work, players are competing mad scientists entrusted with a page from their father’s journal and a large estate in which to perform their devious experiments. Players earn points by completing experiments, aiding the town in its endeavors, upgrading their macabre estates, and hopefully completing their father’s masterwork.

echoes: The Dancer Audio Escape Room Game

Number of Players: 1-6
Ages: 14+
Time: 1 hour
BGG Rating: 6.8

echoes is a co-operative audio mystery game. Using the free app, players listen to mysterious noises and voices that are connected to the playing material. Together they look for hints in the sound bites to bring the story parts in order and solve the case.
