We’re working hard to get the store open on Saturday May 17th. We’re planning a big day including our first Magic: the Gathering play session. We’re working with a great judge, Emily, and I’ll keep you posted on the details. Pretty exciting!
Today we’re working on the kitchen and the menu. We have a food delivery today and we’ll be making the menu and working on the pricing. As soon as we’ve come up with the final menu and prices, I’ll post it here.
Tomorrow is a big day! Much happening including:
The signs are being installed!!! The big lit front signs and the smaller sign in the back. I can’t wait! Once we get the sign, we can take a picture and join the Wizards Play Network to start having official events. Also, it will just be cool, so there’s that.
Columbia Distribution is delivering our beer and cider tomorrow. That’s pretty exciting, too. Now we can enjoy a brew while gazing at our new sign 🙂
True North Coffee Roasters is stopping by to get our espresso situation set up. I can’t WAIT to have coffee here. The brewskis will be nice, but the coffee… I need the coffee. There’s a 7 Eleven across the street, but, you know, it’s 7 Eleven coffee. Drinkable, but not a freshly brewed Americano.
Track lighting will be installed over the cafe area. I’m looking forward to this also. The florescent lights are cranking it out, but I want some warmer light and the track lighting will give us that.
And now, the photos. We have more games coming, but it’s a nice start to the shelving and display. I think things are looking pretty good!
