It’s official!  Meeples Games will be located at 3727 California Ave SW Suite 2B.  We’ll have access to the space on January 1 and construction will begin shortly thereafter.  I’m hoping we can be open in March sometime.  I wish we didn’t have to wait until January.  It’s a little like closing on your house but not being able to go there for a few weeks except it’s not a house and instead of a few weeks it’s a few months, but you get the idea.

There are so many things to do in the meantime.  Now that I ACTUALLY HAVE A PLACE, I can start buying table and chairs, kitchen equipment, espresso machine, etc.  All of the things I didn’t want to do for fear of jinxing the space.  Apparently gamers are superstitious (by ‘gamers’ I mean me) – who knew?

Ok, first order of business: write this post.  Second order of business: celebratory dinner (with cocktails) with my son.  Third order of business: everything else.

Up until today, I could have turned back.  Decided that this whole thing was just a crazy idea and what was I thinking?!  Now it’s real.  Now I’m really going to have this amazing store.  I’m so excited!
